Industrial Visit for D. Pharmacy Students

On 10th and 11th of June 2022, students of D Pharmacy and two staff members were visited AACENT PHARMACEUTICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC, Solan for industrial visit.
Mr. Neeraj Sharma, HR of the company allowed us to visit the company.
Firstly, we visit Raw Material Section, then primary area, secondary area, quality control area, capsule section and the head of the department told students about every area in brief. All the head departments recited so well to the students about the importance and function of different departments. There were so supportive and informative at the same time. It was a wonderful and knowledge visit for the students.

Visit of Medicinal Garden

On 30th May 2022, L.R INSTITUTE of PHARMACY SOALN, visited HERBAL GARDEN of Y.S PARMAR UNIVERSITY, NAUNI SOLAN.
Students of D Pharmacy and three staff members went there to study different types of medicinal, commercial and aromatic plants. Dr. Dutt, prof. in Department of forestry made us visit the whole medicinal garden. Students noted down the important characteristics and information regarding plants on their notebooks. They took so many pictures of the same.
It was a wonderful and knowledge visit for students.

Visit to Himgiri Kalyan Ashram Shilli

On 22 May, 2022 students of diploma pharmacy and some staff members from LR Institute of Pharmacy, Solan visited to Himgiri Kalyan Ashram Shilli, Solan Himachal Pradesh. They travelled by college bus from the campus. Management committee of the ashram welcomed the whole team of LR Institute with so much grace and respect. In ashram everything was so managed and every child of the ashram was so disciplined. They greeted the visitors with “Namaskar” and a huge smile on their face. There were around 46 children out there. Ashram connects children with the patriotic roots of their country and teaches them to respect their freedom and freedom fighters. They get up early in the morning do puja and have proper time table for everything (study. Meal, sports). Children study in govt. school from sixth to twelfth standard. Students of diploma asked some questions from them and participated in singing sings or dancing with them. Ashram’s students were so talented, cheerful and disciplined at the same time. They were from different districts like Kinnaur, Chamba. Shimla, Sirmaur, Lahaul Spiti, Kullu, Una etc. head of ashram delivered a wonderful speech regarding the origin and purpose of ashram. After that diploma students and staff members handed over the essential accessories to the head of ashram like notebooks, pen, pencil, geometry boxes, clothes, bananas and juices. Then they had lunch together organized by ashram itself. After that students came back to the campus. The purpose of this visit was to develop the feeling of sharing and help among the students so that they can connect to every person in the society either he/she is rich or poor. It was a great and helpful visit.

Visit to Water Purification Plant

On 10th and 11th May, 2022 students of diploma pharmacy and some staff members from LR Institute of Pharmacy, Solan visited to Aacent Pharmaceutical and Diagnostic Solan Himachal Pradesh for demonstration of Water Purification Plant. Mr. Neeraj Sharma, HR of the company allowed us to visit the company. The head of the department of the maintenance demonstrate the water purification unit to the students. Students learnt the whole process and note down main steps in their notebooks. It was a knowledgeable visit.

Visit to PHC, Sultanpur

On 23rd June 2022 students of diploma pharmacy 1st year and some staff members from LR Institute of Pharmacy, Solan visited to PHC Sultanpur, Solan Himachal Pradesh. They travelled by college bus from the campus. Dr. Swati Medical Officer welcomed the whole team of LR Institute with so much grace and respect. She made them visit to the each and every department of the health center. She delivered a very knowledgeable lecture to the students.

Farewell 2022

A farewell party was celebrated at LR institute of pharmacy, solan having theme "Pharma Fiesta 2022". The farewell was given to the last year students of masters, bachelor's, and diploma. All the members presented there were very excited and enjoyed alot. Dr. Shweta Agarwal principal of LRIP give best wishes to the students for their bright future. The title of Ms and Mr pharmacy was given to the bachelor students of Chanchal and Ritesh while the title of Ms and Mr personality to Monika and Akash. The above titles were given based on dressing, modelling, games (Drink water, Blow and pop bloon, dare devil etc), questionnaire. Also for entertainment students from junior classes gave their performances on various activities like singing, dancing (Nati, Bhangra), and shyari.

Sports day 2022

On 03/06/2022, the sports meet was organised by L R Institute of Pharmacy. The event was started with National Anthem. On 3rd June, the event was started with various Indoor games such as Chess, Carom, and Table Tennis etc. On 04/06/2022 the event was continued with various outdoor games such as cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, followed by sprint race. In outdoor games, Director (L.R. Group of Institutes) Capt. Nisha Dhinkar also participated followed by faculty members of the department. On 4/6/2022, the event was closed by announcing the winners and runner-ups.
